Privacy Policy – Screen Pulse | Last updated: 24-09-2025

Screen Pulse (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your personal information when you use our services.

By using the Screen Pulse platform, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

1.1 Account & Contact Information

  • Name, company, email address, mobile phone number (including phone numbers collected from end users of our customers — e.g., restaurant patrons — who opt in to receive SMS marketing from our customers via our Customer Capture forms or Spin Wheel campaigns), billing address, payment details, and login credentials.

1.2 Usage Data

  • Information about how you interact with the platform (logins, screen activity, clicks, device/browser information, IP addresses).

1.3 Content & Media

  • Any media (images, videos, graphics, text) you upload, publish, or display via the Service.
  • We may reuse such content (with or without alterations) for operational, analytical, or promotional purposes, in line with our Terms & Conditions.

1.4 Hardware Data (if applicable)

  • Device identifiers, operating system details, and diagnostic information from hardware supplied by us.

1.5 Social Media Integration Data (SP Reputation & SP Engage — Facebook & Instagram)

If you use our SP Reputation and SP Engage features and choose to connect a Facebook Page and/or a linked Instagram Business/Creator account, we access and process information from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram) only to the extent needed to provide those features, and only for the Pages and accounts you explicitly authorize during connection. This may include:

  • The list of Facebook Pages you manage, and basic Page details (name, category, ID).
  • Reviews, ratings, recommendations, comments, and posts on your connected Page, and related engagement data (e.g., reactions, comment counts).
  • Your Page's business information (such as name, about, phone, website, email, and opening hours) where you use our Listings features to view or update it.
  • Your linked Instagram Business/Creator account profile information and media.
  • Access tokens issued by Meta that allow Screen Pulse to perform the actions you authorize on your behalf.
  • Publicly available information about competitor businesses you choose to track (e.g., public ratings and review counts), where offered.

We do not request or store your Facebook or Instagram password. Access is granted through Meta's official OAuth login and can be revoked by you at any time (see Section 7b).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • Provide and operate the Screen Pulse Service.
  • Billing & account management (processing payments, invoicing, fraud prevention).
  • Customer support (responding to inquiries, troubleshooting issues).
  • Improving and personalizing the Service, including analytics and performance optimization.
  • Security & compliance (protecting against fraud, illegal activity, or misuse).
  • Marketing & communication: to send you updates, offers, and news (you may opt out at any time).
  • Reusing customer content: for operational improvements or promotional materials, as described in our Terms & Conditions.
  • SMS Messaging: If you (or end users of our customers) opt in to receive SMS messages, we use the provided mobile number to send transactional and marketing SMS messages on behalf of our customers' businesses. Opt-in is explicit and affirmative (an unchecked consent checkbox the end user must actively check before submission). You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
  • Reputation & social features (SP Reputation / SP Engage): to display your Facebook and Instagram reviews, ratings, and comments in a single dashboard; generate and post AI-assisted or manual replies at your direction; analyze sentiment and highlight trends; and, where you use our Listings tools, view and update your Page's business information.
  • Social publishing (Social Posts / AI Menu Studio): to create and publish posts, images, carousels, and stories to your own connected Facebook Page and Instagram account when you choose to publish or schedule them, and to retrieve basic post performance metrics (such as likes, comments, and reach) for content you published.

3. Sharing of Information

We may share your information in limited cases:

  • Service providers: Payment processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, customer support systems.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Legal requirements: To comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable government request.
  • With your consent: If you grant us explicit permission.

No mobile information (including phone numbers and SMS opt-in data) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS consent and phone numbers are not shared with, sold to, or rented to any third party.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

4. Data Storage & Security

  • All customer data is stored on secure servers located in the United States of America.
  • We use industry-standard encryption, access controls, and monitoring to safeguard your information.
  • However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

  • Account and billing data are retained as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with legal obligations.
  • Content may be retained or deleted upon account termination in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

  • Accessing, correcting, or deleting your personal data.
  • Opting out of marketing communications.
  • Requesting portability of your data.
  • Restricting or objecting to certain processing activities.

To exercise these rights, contact us at screenpulse.ai@gmail.com.

7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Remember your preferences.
  • Improve performance and security.
  • Analyze usage for improvements.

You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect your ability to use the Service.

7a. SMS Messaging Program

Screen Pulse provides an SMS messaging platform that allows our business customers (e.g., restaurants) to send SMS marketing and transactional messages to their end customers who have opted in.

Opt-in collection: End users opt in by entering their mobile phone number and actively checking an SMS consent checkbox on a Customer Capture web form (accessible via a unique campaign URL or QR code displayed at the business's location). The consent checkbox is unchecked by default — the end user must affirmatively check it. The consent disclosure reads: "I agree to receive SMS marketing messages from [Business Name]. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help."

Message types: Marketing offers, promotions, event announcements, loyalty rewards, and transactional messages from the business the end user opted in with.

Frequency: Message frequency varies by business. Typical volume is up to 4 messages per month per opted-in customer.

Costs: Message and data rates may apply per your wireless carrier plan. Screen Pulse does not charge end users to receive messages.

Opt-out: Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. You will receive a confirmation message and no further marketing messages from that business. To re-subscribe, reply START or UNSTOP.

Help: Reply HELP for customer support. For additional assistance, contact screenpulse.ai@gmail.com.

Carriers: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Third-party sharing: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers collected for SMS are used only to deliver SMS messages from the business the end user opted in with.

7b. Social Media Integrations (Meta — Facebook & Instagram)

Our SP Reputation, SP Engage, Social Posts, and AI Menu Studio features let you connect your own Facebook Page and linked Instagram Business/Creator account so you can manage reviews and publish content from within Screen Pulse.

What we access and why

With your explicit authorization through Meta's login, Screen Pulse may request the permissions needed to: read the Pages you manage; read your Page/Instagram reviews, ratings, comments, and engagement; reply to and manage those reviews and comments; publish posts and media to your Page and Instagram account; and view or update your Page's business information. We access only the Pages and accounts you select and use the data solely to provide these features to you.

How we store and retain it

Data obtained from Meta is stored on secure servers in the United States and is retained only while your account and the relevant connection remain active. If you disconnect a Page or Instagram account, or close your account, we delete the associated Meta data (including stored reviews and access tokens) for that connection, except where we are required to retain limited records to comply with law.

How to disconnect and delete this data

  • In Screen Pulse: go to SP Reputation → Connections and disconnect the Facebook or Instagram account. This revokes the stored access token and removes the data we hold for that connection.
  • In Facebook: go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations, select "Screen Pulse Reputation," and remove it.
  • By request: email screenpulse.ai@gmail.com or follow our Data Deletion Instructions.

Compliance with Meta Platform Terms

Screen Pulse's use of information received from Meta (Facebook and Instagram) APIs adheres to the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, including their limited-use requirements. We do not sell Meta data, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with third parties except as strictly necessary to provide the Service to you or as required by law.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it.

9. International Users

Although Screen Pulse operates primarily in the USA, if you access the Service from outside the USA, you agree that your data may be transferred, stored, and processed in the USA, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made, we will notify you via email or platform notice before they take effect.
